Three formats, three performance ranges, twenty one configurations!

Desktop laminators with a wide range of accessories are available in three sizes and two performance classes. Machines (laminators, separators, and feeders) form a unique modular system, in which each customer can select and assemble a configuration according to user´s needs and specifications. Currently, it is possible to assemble machines in 21 configurations!

   1. The “OnDemand” laminator product range with working width of 380 mm is available in two performance classes:
1.   The first class is based on the simple Foliant 400T laminator with working speed up to 7 metres per minute. The machine is also available as a semi-automatic line with a separator (FOLIANT 400S). The third machine is a FOLIANT 400A fully automatic line with a maximum speed up to 12 metres per minute. All these machines´ varieties are suitable for laminating offset printed B3 size sheets or laminating printouts from digital printing machines (Indigo, Nexpress, Canon, Oce, KBA etc).

2.   The second class represents a new product with hydropneumatic pressure system prepared for the Drupa 2004 Fair; it consists of a FOLIANT Gemini 400 laminator with detachable separator (FOLIANT Gemini 400S model), or an automatic feeder (FOLIANT Gemini 400A model). Products of this class provide performance of 10 to 15 metres a minute, depending on the automatic feeder. Such machines are suitable for laminating sheets printed on Xerox digital printing machines or for large amounts of printed material (due to the improved performance). The possibility to use standard polypropylene film for both offset and digital print (include Xerox colour copies) is a great advantage for these technologies. Thus the lamination costs for digital print technologies are decreased significantly.

   2. The 520 mm working width line is designed for lamination of formats of up to B2.
1.   The basic FOLIANT 520T model is equipped with a feeding  conveyor  for  easy  manual  feeding.   With  a

 

maximum speed of up to 7 metres per minute, this machine is delivered as a manual machine (manual feeding, manual separation) or a semi-automatic line (accompanied with automatic separator), or as a fully automatic line (containing feeder, laminator, separator).

2.   Again with a width of 520 mm, the higher performance FOLIANT 520HP Laminator is available with a maximum speed of 11 metres per minute. This model is available in three configurations - as a manual machine (manual feeding, manual separation) or a semi-automatic line (accompanied with automatic separator), or as a fully automatic line (containing feeder, laminator, separator).

3.   For rapid lamination of even the most difficult materials (laminating matt paper or cardboard) there is the new FOLIANT Gulliver 520. The difference between this machine and other FOLIANT machines is in using hydropneumatic pressure rollers and overall reinforced construction with a new engine. The laminator itself forms a basis for further varieties – semi-automatic line consisting of a laminator and a separator, and for an automatic line with a feeder. The automatic set highest output ranges up to 15 metres a minute.

   3. The 720-mm working width line is designed for lamination of formats of up to B1 , which enables the customers to choose between two laminator models:
1.   FOLIANT 720HP version has an output of a max. 10 metres a minute, which limits its use for small-volume jobs. The laminator can be operated manually or with a separator (semi-automatic line) or as a fully automatic line (feeder, laminator, separator).

2.   FOLIANT Gulliver 720 version with hydropneumatic pressure rollers forms the basis for a new performance range (manually operated machine, semi-automatic or automatic) with the highest line output of 15 metres a minute.
