FOLIANT Gulliver 520 laminating machines with accessories represent the most important improvement in the FOLIANT 2004 year collection. FOLIANT Gulliver 520 is a new industrial laminating machine with hydropneumatic system of laminating rollers pressure with easy thrust control. The machine is designed with an operating width of 520 mm, represent an ideal choice for professional single side lamination in small and medium size printing shops, printing and processing sheets up to B2 size (the largest format is 52 x 74 cm). Thanks to very high thrust of main laminating rollers the machine is suitable for rapid lamination of all kinds of paper even the most difficult materials (as matt paper or cardboard). Next important difference between this new machine and other FOLIANT machines (except the using a hydropneumatic pressure of main rollers) is overall reinforced construction with a new engine. The laminator itself forms a basis for further varieties – semi-automatic line consisting of a laminator and a separator, and for automatic line with a feeder. The automatic set highest output ranges up to 15 metres a minute.		The FOLIANT Gulliver 520 series fully utilizes the modular concept of the entire FOLIANT project – the availability of laminating machine, an automatic separator and an automatic sheet feeder allows combining and using them into three different configurations. The laminating unit FOLIANT Gulliver 520 can be easily supplemented with an automatic separator for separation of laminated sheets. The machine is than operated as semi-automatic line (with manual feeding and automatic separation), requiring only one person to operate the machine. A modular stand and reception unit for storage of laminated sheets can be supplied as optional accessories. The laminating unit FOLIANT Gulliver 520 can be operated as an automatic lamination line equipped with an automatic sheet feeder and separator. In this configuration the modular stand and reception unit for storage of laminated sheets are supplied as standard accessories.
		Review of the recommended configurations of the FOLIANT Gulliver 520 machines line: 1. The Manual Machine FOLIANT Gulliver 520 laminating unit, manual loading, manual separation, maximum operating speed 15 m per minute. The main laminating roller is with hard chrome surface.The machine requires a minimum floor space of 90 x 80 cm. A Modular Stand is supplied as standard accessory. Any time later the machine could be upgraded by FOLIANT Separator 520.
2. The Semiautomatic Laminating Line The semi-automatic lamination line FOLIANT Gulliver 520S consists of the FOLIANT Gulliver 520 laminating unit and the automatic FOLIANT Separator 520. Manual feeding, automatic separation, maximum operating speed 11 m per minute. A Modular Stand and Reception Unit for storage of laminated sheets are supplied as standard accessories. The machine requires a minimum floor space of 100 x 250 cm including the reception unit. Any time later the machine may be upgraded by FOLIANT Feeder 520.		3. The Automatic Laminating Line The automatic laminating line FOLIANT Gulliver 520A consists of the FOLIANT Gulliver 520 laminating unit, the automatic FOLIANT Separator 520 and the FOLIANT Feeder 520 automatic sheet feeder. Automatic sheet feeding, automatic separation, maximum operating speed 15 m per minute. A Modular Stand and RU 520 Reception Unit for storage of laminated sheets are supplied as standard accessories. The machine requires a minimum floor space of 100 x 350 cm.
The machines demonstrate all the advantages of the FOLIANT project – outstanding design, easy handling and operation, single-phase electrical power supply, low operational cost, easy changing of the processing format, independence from supply of vacuum or compressed air. Laminated sheets do not curl after lamination and are immediately available for further processing.
